Tassili n'Ajjer (Sahara)
ALGERIA
The Tassili n'Ajjer is a mountain range in the Sahara desert in southeast Algeria. It extends about 500 km, with its highest point at Adrar Afao at 2,158 m. Much of the range, including the cypresses and archaeological sites, is protected within the Tassili n'Ajjer National Park.
