It has been 12 months now since the Declaration of The Official New 7 Wonders of the World in Lisbon. Casting more than 100 million votes in total, people all over the planet participated in the first-ever global election.

We all came together to celebrate what we share and we created “Global Memory” for the first time ever. There are now 7 things that everyone on this planet can remember and can hold up as symbols of our shared world - 7 symbols of unity that celebrate the cultural diversity of our planet! History did not just happen to us all, we actively and forcefully made it - and we made something that is positive, that makes our world a better place.
