The 28 Official Finalist Candidates in the New7Wonders of Nature campaign will be announced at the New7Wonders Foundation headquarters in Zurich at 12.07 GMT on July 21, 2009 (14.07 local time).

The announcement event will not be open to the general media, but we are planning the following media access options:

TV footage of the event will be made available via Reuters and/or APTN. Please contact your local Reuters TV and APTN offices now for more information.
Optional and pre-scheduled interviews with Bernard Weber, Founder and President of New7Wonders, in Zurich after the announcement has been made. Please let Tia Viering know as soon as possible so that these interviews can be scheduled, as time is limited and available slots will be given on a first-come basis. The deadline for all interview scheduling is Tuesday, July 14, 16.00 GMT.
