Until the end of 2008, national nominees from countries with more than one participant are competing to become the leading national nominee.
Only one national nominee per country can proceed into the next phase in 2009, and the decision will be based on your votes.

Important notes on national nominee qualifications:
Nominees that are shared across more than one country border (multi-national nominees) are
excluded from this national qualification requirement and will automatically continue into 2009.
National nominees without Official Supporting Committees, including those that may qualify
as the # 1 national nominee, will be replaced by the # 2 national nominee unless the appropriate Official Supporting Committee is formed.
